Pit Lining System & Secondary/Chemical Containment

Protecting the environment is a paramount focus to Rhino and Rhino 400 is the answer for many industry issues that have a significant impact on the same. These applications include secondary and chemical containment as well as, pit/tank lining systems for the Oil Field Services Industry.  The most common areas of secondary chemical containment focuses on the concrete vault structure, which while cost-effective to construct, does not generally provide a long-term barrier to chemical spills due to its permeable nature and tendency to crack from settling or significant temperature change. Rhino 400 forms a highly elastomeric membrane, which will resist most mild to medium acid concentrations, while effectively bridging hairline cracks in the concrete.   Additionally, Rhino 400 is utilized in back flow frac pit lining applications and fresh water pond applications to prevent chemical and water leaching into ground water sources.  Other uses include, but are never limited to, noise reduction, insulation encapsulation, leaching operations and tailing ponds in the mining industry.
